The Greek Word Used For Edifies Himself Is The Word
Oikodomeo,

Concordance #3619). This Word Means To
Build A House, To Erect A Building. I Compare It To Building A Radio Or A TV That Can Receive Signals From The Air ALL Around Us.
It’s Like We Are A Radio Or TV, And There Are Radio Waves ALL Around
Us, Or TV Signals. Right Now At This Moment, Your Favorite Radio Or Television Station Is Broadcasting. But, Unless You Have A Helper, Like A Radio Or TV, You Cannot By Yourself Pick Up This Signal.
Concerning Hearing From God, We Are Designed To Be The Radio Receiver And Our Helper Is The Holy Ghost, The
Comforter.
However, When He, The Spirit Of Truth, Has Come, He Will Guide You Into ALL Truth; For He Will Not Speak On His Own Authority, But Whatever He Hears He Will Speak; And
He Will Tell You Things To Come,
(John 16:13).
However, We’re More Like A Radio Kit That Has Not
Yet Been Built And, As We Begin To Get Into Praying In The Spirit, Then Something Happens On The Inside Of Us, And We Get Edified. Or To Keep In Context Of My Illustration, The Radio Or TV Parts Get Built That Allow Us To Receive The Signals That Are Flowing From God.
Just To Put It In A Way That You Can See It Better. Here Is What Yahweh’s Word Wrote, “He Who Speaks In A Tongue
Edifies Himself, And “Edifies”, Is Defined To Mean, “Build A House, To Erect A
Building”.
Edify Means To Build Up, As In Erecting A House,
(Strong’s #3619).
We Are Building
Up The House Of Yahweh When We Edify One Another. Greek Scholars Tell Us
We Have A Word In Our Vernacular Today That Is Closer To The Original Greek Than The Word Translated,
“Edify”. And That Word Is,
“Charge”,
As We Use It In Connection With Building Up A Charge On A Battery.
He Who Speaks In A Tongue Builds A House, (Edifies), Themselves.
Are You Not The Temple Of The Holy Ghost?
- Or Do You Not Know That Your Body Is The Temple Of The Holy Ghost Who Is In You, Whom You Have From
God, And You Are Not Your Own?
