The Image Of Yahweh
In Jude 1:9
We Find That,
“Yet Michael The ArchAngel, In Contending With The Devil, When He Disputed About The Body Of Moses, Dared Not Bring Against Him A Reviling Accusation,
But Said, “Yahweh Rebuke You~!”.
So, You Would Probably Be Led To Believe That We Are Not Allowed To Speak Directly To
d—Evil One~! However, We Are Not In The Angel Class~!We
Have Been Created In The Image Of Yahweh.
Psalm 8:4-5 Says,
“What Is Man That You Are Mindful Of Him, And
The Son Of Man That You Visit Him?
For You Have Made Him A Little Lower Than God*, And You Have Crowned Him With Glory And Honor”.
*{“Elohiym” In The Original Hebrew-Chaldee -
Strong’s Concordance #
0430 ~
The King James Version Incorrectly Translated This Word At
Psalm 8:5 As “Angels”}
You’ll Find The Answer To This Dilemma In
2 Kings 18:36
Where Hezekiah Told The People Not To Respond To The Threats, Jibes, And Accusations
Of Sennacherib, The Emperor And King Of Assyria And His Spokesperson, Rabshakeh,
(Isaiah 36-37).
The Angel Of Yahweh Struck 185,000~!
Reading Assignment: (Read Isaiah 36-37;
2 Kings 18-19;
2 Chronicles 32;
And As BackGround Also Read 2 Chronicles 30-31 And
Note That This Attack Came Right After A Feast Where Yahweh Was Praised)~!
I Jumped Ahead Of The
Story By Telling You That Yahweh Answered This Prayer, (2 Kings 19:35), “And The Whole World Will Know That There Is A God In Israel”.
Then We Read Where The Angel Of Yahweh Slew 185,000… Oops Rabshakeh.
2 Kings 19:35: “And That Night, Yahweh’s Angel Went Out, And Struck 185,000 In The Camp Of The Assyrians~!
{So Rabshakeh Returned With Egg On His Face} …And Sennacherib, (Adrammelech And Sharezer), Struck Sennacherib With The Sword And They Killed Him.”
That’s True, And That Did Happen. However, Before It Came To That…
(Isaiah 37:6-9)…
6
Isaiah Said To Them, “Tell Your Master This: Yahweh Says, ‘Don’t Be Afraid Of The Words That You Have Heard, With Which The Servants Of The King Of Assyria Have Blasphemed Me.
7
Behold, I Will Put A Spirit In Him,
And He Will Hear News, And Will Return To His Own Land.
I Will Cause Him To Fall By The Sword In His Own Land.’”
8 So Rabshakeh Returned And Found The King Of Assyria Warring Against Libnah;
For He Had Heard That He Had Departed From Lachish.
So, The First Time Rabshakeh Just Heard That Someone Was Attacking And He Had To Depart, Probably The King Depended On Him As
A Translator As He Spoke At Least Two Languages.
FYI, Just So That You’ll Know How This Story Ties In, Isaiah 36:2 Tells Us That Rabshakeh
Had Been Sent From Lachish, Before Leaving To Meet The Attack, Rabshakeh
Sent Messengers Back To Hezekiah In Jerusalem With This Message:
{General} Rabshakeh Said, “Have I Come Up Now Without Yahweh Against This Land To Destroy It? Yahweh Said To Me, “Go Up Against This Land, And Destroy It”.’
Yahweh Most Certainly Did NOT Say This~! Rabshakeh Was Lying.
This Testimony Is Also Told At Isaiah 36-37. And Just As Today There Are Those That Willing To Kill Christians Thinking That They Are Serving God… {Yes, The Time
Has Already Come That Whoever Seeks To Kill A Christian Will Think That He Is Offering Service To God,
(John 16:2)}.
We’re There. These Are Those Days That Were Spoken Of~!
And Just To Keep The Story Straight And The Characters Right In Your Mind, Israel Had Divided Into Two Parts, With Ten Tribes From The North Going
With The Nation Of Israel And Two Tribes Going With The Nation Of Judah And King Hezekiah Was The King Of Judah, And Rabshakeh, {Who
Tried To To Shake Up Judah}, Was
One Of
Three Heads, (Rabshakeh, {Which Might Be His Title As Chief Cupbearer Rather Than His Name}, Who
Was The Supreme Commander,
or Chief Officer, Chief Of The Heads Of Captains, or More Like A Present Day General, And Then There Was The Chief Officer And Also
The Field Commander Of The Assyrian Army), But Rabshakeh Most Notable Position Was That Of A Spokesperson, As He Spoke More Than One
Language. Sennacherib Was The King Of Assyria, {The Indigenous Assyrian Homeland Areas Are “Part Of Today’s Northern Iraq,
Southeastern Turkey, Northwestern Iran And Northeastern Syria”}. And Libnah; Was A City In The Tribe Of Judah,
(Joshua 10:29: 15:42).
Zechariah Might Have Been Written At This Same Time Period, Because Zechariah Was A Prophet Of The Kingdom Of Judah And Abi, (Abijah), Was
The Daughter Of Zechariah, And Also The Mother Of King Hezekiah (Reigned c. 715-686 BCE). Possibly Zechariah The Son Of Jeberechiah,
{Compare (2 Chronicles 29:1
To Isaiah 8:2)}, And Afterwards The Wife Of King Ahaz. She Is Also Called Abi,
(2 Kings 18:2).
But, Either Way, Yahweh Changes Not. Both Of These Scripture Verses Above Were Talking About Jerusalem As Well As The Palestinians Of Today.
They Want 100% Of Jerusalem. Why Would Yahweh Say To Destroy Jerusalem? However, That’s Crazy Talk Because Rabshakeh Was Talking To A Man Whose
Grandfather Was Probably Zechariah, And Most Likely Raised Under Inspired Scriptures From His Grandfather That Wrote:
Zechariah 2:8 ~
For Yahweh Of Armies Says: ‘For Honor He Has Sent Me To The Nations Which Plundered You; For He Who Touches You Touches
The Apple Of His Eye.’
Zechariah 12:2-3 ~
2 Behold, I Will Make Jerusalem A Cup Of Trembling Unto All The People Round About,
When They Shall Be In The Siege Both Against Judah And Against Jerusalem.
3 And In That Day Will I Make Jerusalem A Burdensome Stone For All People:
All That Burden Themselves With It Shall Be Cut In Pieces, {Though All The People Of The Earth Be Gathered Together Against It}.
Here Is What Yahweh Actually Said In Response To General Rabshakeh
Speaking On Behalf Of King Sennacherib.
Isaiah 36:21-35 ~
World English Bible (WEB) 36 21
Then Isaiah The Son Of Amoz Sent To Hezekiah, Saying, “Yahweh, The God Of Israel Says, ‘Because You Have Prayed To Me Against Sennacherib King Of Assyria,
22 This Is The Word Which Yahweh Has “Spoken” Concerning Him. The Virgin Daughter Of Zion Has Despised You
And Ridiculed You. The Daughter Of Jerusalem Has Shaken Her Head At You.
23 Whom Have You Defied And
Blasphemed? Against Whom Have You Exalted Your Voice And Lifted Up Your Eyes On
High? Against The Holy One Of Israel.
24 By Your Servants, Have You Defied The Lord, And Have Said, “With The Multitude Of My Chariots I Have
Come Up To The Height Of The Mountains, To The Innermost Parts Of Lebanon. I Will Cut Down Its Tall Cedars And Its Choice Cypress Trees.
I Will Enter Into Its Farthest Height, The Forest Of Its Fruitful Field.
25 I Have Dug And Drunk Water, And With The Sole Of My Feet I Will Dry Up All The Rivers Of Egypt”.
26 Have You Not Heard How I Have Done It Long Ago, And Formed It In Ancient Times?
Now I Have Brought It To Pass, That It Should Be Yours To Destroy Fortified Cities, Turning Them Into Ruinous Heaps.
27 Therefore Their Inhabitants Had Little Power. They Were Dismayed And Confounded.
They Were Like The Grass Of The Field, And Like The Green Herb, Like The Grass
On The Housetops, And Like A Field Before Its Crop Has Grown.
28 But I Know Your Sitting Down, Your Going Out, Your Coming In, And Your Raging Against Me.
29 Because Of Your Raging Against Me, And Because Your Arrogance Has Come Up Into My Ears,
Therefore Will I Put My Hook In Your Nose And My Bridle In Your Lips, And I Will Turn You Back By The Way By Which You
Came.
30 This Shall Be The Sign To You. You Will Eat This Year That Which Grows Of Itself,
And In The Second Year That Which Springs From The Same; And In The Third Year Sow And Reap And Plant Vineyards,
And Eat Their Fruit.
31 The Remnant That Is Escaped Of The House Of Judah Will Again Take Root Downward, And Bear Fruit Upward.
32 For Out Of Jerusalem A Remnant Will Go Out, And Survivors Will Escape From Mount Zion.
The Zeal Of Yahweh Of Armies Will Perform This.’
33 Therefore Yahweh Says Concerning The King Of Assyria, ‘He Will Not Come To This City, Nor
Shoot An Arrow There, Neither Will He Come Before It With Shield, Nor Cast Up A Mound Against It.
34 By The Way That He Came, By The Same He Shall Return, And He Shall Not Come To This City, ’ Says Yahweh.
35 ‘For I Will Defend This City To Save It, For My Own Sake, And For My Servant David’s Sake.’”
But The People Were Silent And Did Not Utter A Word Because Hezekiah Had
Commanded Them, “DO NOT Answer Him”.
Don’t Argue With Satan~! d—Evil One Wants Us To Engage Him And To Get Into The Carnal Realm Of The Flesh~!
d-Evil One Wants You To Raise Up All These Proud Arguments, But
Hezekiah Was Very Brilliant And Said, “Yahweh Sees, And That’s All That Matters”~!
The Battle Is Yahweh’s,
2 Kings 6:18
When They Came Down To Him, Elisha Prayed To Yahweh, And Said, Please Strike This People With Blindness”.
He Struck Them With Blindness According To The Word Of Elisha
1 Samuel 17:45
And All This Assembly Shall Know That Yahweh Saves Not With Sword And Spear:
For The Battle Is Yahweh’s, And He Will Give You Into Our Hands ,
2 Chronicles 20:15
And He Said, “Listen, All Judah, And You Inhabitants Of Jerusalem, And You King Jehoshaphat. Yahweh Says To You,
‘Don’t Be Afraid, Neither Be Dismayed By Reason Of This Great Multitude;
For The Battle Is Not Yours, But Yahweh’s.
The Battle Is Yahweh’s,
The Battle Is Yahweh’s,
(2 Chronicles 32:7-8),
{But He Shares The Victory With Us~! “…And He Will Give You Into Our Hands”
(1 Samuel 17:45)} ~
(1 Samuel 17:47;
2 Chronicles 20:15;
1 Corinthians 15:57; 2 Corinthians 2:14); And Yahweh Will Fight For Us ~
Deuteronomy 1:30; 3:22; 20:4;
Joshua 10:42; 23:3, 10; 2 Chronicles 20:29; 32:8; Psalm 35:1;
Zechariah 14:3; Revelation 19:11-21).
Proverbs 16:2, 7, 17, 25 2 All The Ways Of A Person Are
Clean In Their Own Eyes; But Yahweh Weighs The Motives.
7
When A Person’s Ways Please Yahweh, They Make Even Their Enemies To Be At Peace With Them.
17 The Highway Of The Upright
Is To Depart From Evil. He Who Keeps His Way Preserves His Soul.
25 There Is A Way Which Seems
Right To A Person, But In The End It Leads To Death.
1 Corinthians 15:57; 2 Corinthians 2:14 ~
{An Exchange; He Fights The Battle, But We Get The Victory}.
Yahweh Will Fight For Us, (2
Chronicles 32:7-8).
Hezekiah Had Spread Out The Letter That Had Been Sent,
(2 Chronicles 32:17),
And These Letter May Have Been The Words Written Down By The Scribe, {Shebnah The Scribe, And Joah The Son Of Asaph, The Recorder}
(2 Kings 18:18-19, 26; 37; 19:2), Of The Threats
Of Sennacherib And What His Spokesperson Rabshakeh Had Said,
(2 Kings 19:14).
{A Scribe / Recorder Would Be The Equivalent To Our Modern Day Journalist or Like A Court Recorder, And They Are Probably The Reason That We Have These True
Stories Told To Us Today In Such Detail In Three Different Places In The Scriptures}. You’ll Miss The Entire Picture If You Only Read One Record Of These Events,
As You Really Need To Read 2 Chronicles 32 To Get The Whole Picture;
And If You Don’t Also Read The Previous Chapters In 2 Chronicles 30-31,
You’ll Miss The Large Feast That Occurred Just Prior, Which Was A Major Time Of Praising Yahweh, (And Understand That This Must Have Incensed d—Evil One
And Prompted Him To Start All This Hullabaloo).
But, It Is Also Because We Have Three Different Accounts Of This Occurrence,
Like Reading Three Different Journalist Reporting, That I Believe This Letter
Was The One Written By Rabshakeh’s Messengers. As Rabshakeh Got Word That Since He Had Left Lachish, Sennacherib The King Of Assyria,
(And Rabshakeh’s Boss),
Was Attacking Libnah And Rabshakeh Had To Leave As He Was Like The King’s Right-Hand Man,
{Probably Because Rabshakeh Was Fluent In More Than One Language}.
So Rabshakeh Sent Messages To Hezekiah, And This Is That Letter That Hezekiah Laid Out Before Yahweh.
I Got This From Isaiah’s Version Of What Transpired As Written Down In
Isaiah 37:9-14: “Hezekiah Received The Letter
From The Hand Of The Messengers And Read It. Then Hezekiah Went Up To Yahweh’s House, And Spread It Before Yahweh”.
This Matters, Because The Other Letters Were Just A Record Of What Had Been Spoken, But This Was The Actual Death Threat Delivered By The General Of The Armies Himself.
Even So, When Someone Comes Against Us, Go Get Your Letter(s), {or Bills, or
Passed Due Notices, or Eviction Notices, or Divorce Papers, or Child Custody
Papers or Other Wrongful Legal Action Against You}, And Spread Them Out On A Table Before Yahweh.
Then Hezekiah Cried out To Yahweh,
“Incline, (or “Bend Down”) Your Ear, Open Your Eyes, And See What This Man Has Said And Has Put In Writing~!”
(2 Kings 19:14-19),
And That Night, Yahweh’s Angel Went Out, And Struck 185,000 In The Camp Of The Assyrians~!
And Yahweh Answered This Prayer,
(2 Kings 19:35).
“Behold, I Will Put A Spirit In Him, And He Will Hear News, And Will Return To His Own Land. I Will Cause Him To Fall By The Sword In His Own Land”,
(2 Kings 19:7).
Sennacherib Was The King Of Assyria With
Rabshakeh As His General. Rabshakeh May Have Been Powerful Commanding Officer
Of The Assyrian Army And Able To Make Do On His Threats; However, Rabshakeh Never
Returned To Judah. Amazing~! Such A Simple Solution To A Problem~!
* The Book Of 2 Kings 19:37 States,
“One Day, While [Sennacherib] Was Worshiping In The Temple Of His God Nisrok, His Sons Adrammelek And Sharezer Killed Him With The Sword, And They Escaped To The Land Of Ararat. And Esarhaddon His Son Succeeded Him As King”.
So, The Point Is That We Are Not To Argue And To Get Into The Carnal
Mindset With d—Evil One, But To Make Our Requests or Petitions But
To Yahweh. “Anxiety In A Person’s
Heart Weighs
Them Down, But
An Encouraging Word Brings
Them
Joy”…,
(Proverbs 12:25). “In Nothing Be
Anxious, But In Everything, By Prayer And Petition WITH ThanksGIVING, Let Your
Requests Be Made Known To God”,
(Philippians 4:6).
In My Spirit I Hear, “But To God”, {See Also (1 Corinthians 14:2)}…
(The Greek-English Lexicon Based On Semantic Says The Word, “To” Is The Position Of Persons Facing One Another And Engaged In Discussion -
‘Face To Face’, ‘Person To Person’ ~ Which Confirms That We Are To Make Our Request Be Made Known To God Alone).
(Proverbs 12:25; Philippians 4:6; And Also Remnants Of Matthew 6:25-34).
Our Example, [Yahoshua ~ (John 13:15; 1 Peter 2:21)}, Also Did Not Speak A Word When He Was
Accused, (Matthew 27:14; Matthew 27:12; Matthew 15:23; Matthew 26:63-68)~!
We Don’t Attempt To Defend Ourselves Against The Accuser Of The
Sisters And Brothers~! The Key Is Not To Argue And To Have Strife, For Then
We Are In The Flesh And According To Galatians 5:19-20,
Strife Is One Of The Works Of The
Flesh~! So Among The Enemies Schemes Is To Get You Into Strife, {Even
If It’s With Him ~ Don’t Argue With Your Adversary ~
(Matthew 5:25)}~!
However, This Is Different Than Speaking To d—Evil One Compared “Giving No Place To The Devil~!”,
(Ephesians 4:26-27);
(As When Saying, “You Will Not Bring A Tornado In Here”).
